Our Story

God is at work all around us. There is need all around us. We have decided to join in God’s mission for helping those who need a place to live, a warm place, a safe place… A place to love and call their own… A place to laugh and make memories… A place to learn and study so that they may have a purpose in their life, and perhaps someday that same person might give back to their community and lead and live a generous life.

‘When studying God‘s Word and reading the book of Ezekiel, we learn of the perilous times and how God wanted His people to know that they could experience Him and find hope in their darkest hour, and the priest turned Prophet named Ezekiel, decided to join God in His mission.

In the book of Ezekiel 22:30, we know that God was very distraught for the people and their land, and he looked for someone to help Him for the needy, and He found no one. He wanted someone to stand in the gap for Him for His people. God’s glory calls us to give up our alibis, our substitutes for God, and to serve without pride and selfishness.

God‘s standards protect the poor and needy.  “So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land that I should not destroy it, but I found no one.”

Will you be the one who stands in the gap before God on behalf of the land for the poor and needy?

We invite you to join us in our work as servants, remembering what God has done for each of us.

Help us work where God is at work and to recognize that God is at work all around us, and that is His invitation to us, to help Him help others by serving and thus experience God.
